30/03/16 Wir waren in Altshausen zu Besuch und zum ersten Mal ist Louie in den Teich "gefallen".....er hat in Phil einen sehr guten Lehrer, der ihm alles bei bringt, was ein richtiger Beardie wissen muss. Und das Wasser geniessen steht an erster Stelle ;-)
We went for a visit to my parents' and it was the first time Louzie "fell" in the little pond.....Phil is a very good teacher when it comes to teaching the necessities of a happy Beardie life on top of which stand loving water ;-)

28/03/16 Toben und Louie's erste Kontakte mit dem kleinen Bach

Wie schon in den vergangen Jahren auch, waren wir Anfang März wieder in England. Zum einen natürlich um die Crufts zu besuchen zum Anderen waren in diesem Jahr viele Freunde aus den USA in Birmingham zu Crufts und die wollte ich natürlich treffen. Im Anschluss an die Crufts waren wir dann noch ein paar Tage in Cornwall. Wir, das waren Marian, Brenda, Diane, Annie, Mike und ich. Und ich kann nur sagen, es war wirklich eine geniale Zeit. Wir haben viel gelacht, die Landschaft war einfach genial, die Geschichte all gegenwärtig, die Strassen eine Herausforderung für das Wohnmobil und mich, die wir aber mit Hilfe meines Copiloten alle gemeistert haben. Der Campingplatz hatte eigentlich noch gar nicht offen, daher hatte ich ihn für mich alleine, hoch oben auf den Klippen über dem Meer bei Boscastle und morgens konnten die Beardies auf den riesigen von Hecken gesäumten Flächen toben.
Mit dabei waren Phil, Muffin, Toffee und Louie. Louie hat sich als SUPER Reisebegleiter hervorgetan, nichts schreckt ihn, er nimmt alles ohne wenn und aber an. Die Crufts fand er toll, so viele nette Leute, die ja alle nur wegen ihm da waren, also mussten sie auch alle abgeküsst werden. Ich denke es war nicht das letzte Mal, dass er uns begleitet hat. Phil war soouverän wie immer, die beiden Hexleins hatten ebenfalls ihren Spass.
Rundum eine gelungene Reise!
As in the past few years we went to England beginning of March. We went there to visit Crufts and meet up with lots of friends from the US who came over for Crufts. I really enjoyed meeting up with them and it was a great time. After Crufts we, that is Marian, Brenda, Diane, Annie, Mike and I went on a holiday to Cornwall. And what is there to say, it was one of the best holidays ever. We did laugh a lot, enjoyed the lovely landscape, lots of history around us, the roads were a challenge for me an the motor home, but with the help of my copilot we managed without problems. The campground not really open for another week on top of the cliffs was spectacular and I had it all to my self which meant lots of space for the Beardies to run in the mornings.
Phil, Muffin, Toffee and Louie came along. Louie showed to be the perfect travel companion, he wasn't scared or impressed by anything new. Crufts he thought to be a big party just for him and so he had to kiss everyone within reach. I am sure, it won't have been the last time for him to come along. Phil took everything in his stride, patient and reliable as always and the two girls had lots of fun as well.
